What is TrendHub?

TrendHub is a cloud-based, Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered content and market intelligence solution that provides sales and marketing with predictive trend, industry, market, and content intelligence.

Who uses TrendHub?

Our primary buying centers include sales, marketing, corporate communications, and corporate/market intelligence departments with B2B companies. TrendHub is also well-suited for B2C organizations, like consumer packaged goods, technology, and other highly competitive transactional markets who need to respond rapidly to market, industry, or competitive dynamics.

What is TrendHub used for?

TrendHub provides marketers with valuable market insights, including market, industry, and competitive intel to inform communication and content strategies, product launches, demand generation, and other go-to-market planning.

Sales uses TrendHub to inform conversations and interactions with their prospects, and to monitor their prospects’, customers’, and competitors’ latest news and other market/industry dynamics that might impact fuel their correspondence. This is increasingly important as buyers are overwhelmed with promotional content (for the sake of producing content), advertising, and other noise. They want authentic, factual information that helps them make informed purchase decisions and therefore prefer relevant, timely, and topic-specific content, information, and interactions.

How does it work?

TrendHub is super simple to set-up, customize, and deploy. To get started, a TrendHub administrator (on the client side) is trained to set up the topics/keywords using the TrendHub back-end query builder. From here, Artificial Intelligence (AI) uses a combination of deep learning and machine learning to predict which content and social metadata will have the highest predicted engagement, reach, and resonance.

TrendHub is embeddable as an iframe into any website/microsite or Intranet and is mobile-optimized. The interface is divided into three columns (see below) and can monitor any topic or keywords to discover emerging trends and insights in real-time.

What is column one? (Content Marketing Trends)

The first column shows relevant articles to the topic of interest that are predicted to trend within the next 6 hours. TrendHub scours social (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) as well as websites and blogs by default. Users can also specify and filter results based on specific domains when building out their queries. Every mention is ranked by its trending score and includes a graphic display of its momentum, if available.

What is column two? (Influencer Marketing Trends)

The second column of the iframe may display a group of articles related to a second topic of interest. Or, it may follow content generated by a relevant public Twitter feed. Follow the targeted public group to see what pieces of their conversation are predicted to trend.

What is column three? (Influencer & Hashtags)

The last column of the dashboard will display the top trending hashtags and key influencers related to the search string that funnels trending stories to column one. Clicking on any of the hashtags will take you to an automated Twitter search to reveal all recent, related shares.

Key influencers are also highlighted, with those who have potential to influence the conversation floating to the top. TrendHub provides an author’s Twitter account information, the ability to follow an influencer of interest with ease, and an expandable, hyperlinked view of their fifteen most recent posts.

What is the green, orange, or red line beneath the trending article?

That’s the trend line that gives a visual alert on the status of an article:
  • Green = increasing in reach
  • Yellow = maintaining its scope and reach
  • Red = declining trend

What is a trending score?

The Trending Score is based on a 100-point scale and reflects the likelihood that a mention will gain traction on social media. The score is influenced by a variety of signals, including the recency, volume, velocity, acceleration, and amplification of data within the related search. A Trend Score of 100 is predicted to generate 5 times more growth and engagement than a mention with a score of 20.

Can I share content from within TrendHub?

Sharing content with TrendHub is simple. Each trending mention can be shared directly on a variety of social media platforms, including: Facebook, Twitter, Email, Google+, LinkedIn, and Buffer.

Where do the TrendHubs Live?

Each hub can be hosted by the customer or by ScribbleLive. Once created, each hub can be embedded anywhere—website, microsite, intranet, etc. In order for TrendHub to work effectively, it needs to have high adoption and be easy to use. With that in mind, each TrendHub needs to be integrated into the workflow where each user spends a lot of their time. Being able to embed these anywhere allows that to happen.

How is TrendHub licensed?

TrendHub is licensed and priced on a per hub basis, allowing for wide distribution and access. Most social listening tools are generally priced on a per user basis, making the TrendHub model significant from a pricing standpoint. Licensing by the hub as opposed to by the user allows for mass scaling across large organizations.
